Bibliocrawler

This is a set of ideas & principles for librarians in a Pitcrawler world (or any world ruled by wizards). Here you’ll find the five truths of Pitcrawler librarians that simultaneously reflect & reject the five truths of Pitcrawler wizards, along with a catalog of 10 Pitcrawler librarians. 

 As a librarian by profession & a gaming “loremaster” by hobby, I often turn to mage & scholarly archetypes when making fantasy characters for a game. The basic guidelines of every Pitcrawler world, however, make it very clear that while “wizards rule everything,” in fact “you’ll never be one of them.” This led me to wonder what I would be doing if I were playing in a Pitcrawler world. My answer is Bibliocrawler.

Bibliocrawler was made for Jamcrawler, run by MacGuffin & Co. from Dec. 2024–Jan. 2025. Because this game has not been meticulously playtested, feedback is welcome & appreciated. If nothing else, I see this thing I made as an avenue to explore some cool, fun concepts that I see potential in.
